With his interest in hip-hop leading the crew to this film’s location, Htet Ko Ko Paing often works as a sound recordist including on fellow crew member Mi Ni Ni Aung’s documentary about the ancient Myanmar art of puppeteering, Dancing with the Spirits. Recruited after original crew member Zon Moe Satt unfortunately had to pull out, Nang Mhwe Ngin Seng already participated in the 2019 True Fictions course when she was part of the team making the drug-dealing drama, Easy Money; she also worked on a YFS docuanimation tackling racism, More Than Skin Deep. In spite of being one of the youngest YFS members, Nant May Flower already has a number of films under her belt including Nay Chi, her inspiring documentary about a dressmaker living with disabilities which received a Special Mention in the Goethe Competition; her fellow crew member Than Htike Aung worked as sound recordist on that film. Editor Mi Mi Lwin is also a filmmaker and had great festival success with Sugar & Spice, her funny and touching portrait of her toddy-palm farmer parents.
